For a year, I've been promising the munsters I would decorate their bedrooms. Thanks to Stretch and his unending energy that drives him to just jump in and start projects at the drop of a hat, the ball started rolling - rather, the paint roller started rolling while I was away on business - and I had no choice but to finish the endeavor. With color on the walls finally, the girls were getting pretty antsy to see a finshed product.
I have to admit, I was a little intimidated by the thought of pulling together a decorating scheme for a bright pink room and a two-tone purple room. Neither are my cup of tea; if I had my way, they would both have rooms that are extensions of my rustic country arrangements found throughout the house. I'm sure Squid could sense my anxiety because she really didn't think I was going to pull it off to her satisfaction. Let's just say, she's not worried now. I think the pic below of the 'blindfold moment' says it all.
