December What?

How is it mid-December and 50 degrees? Don't mistake that question as a complaint. I'm just curious. It makes it very difficult to yell at my children for wearing shorts to school when it is nicer outside than it was on several summer days this year. Typically, Christmas decorating takes place with two feet of snow blanketing the yard. This year, not so much. Exhibit A:
Stretch on a ladder, no coat, no gloves, hanging our funky giant ornaments outside. Not a cloud in the sky, nor a flake of snow to be seen anywhere.

But groovy ornaments, huh!

Now, these two munchkins will have to put away the puffy winter vests with the fur-lined hoods for another day. Perhaps save them for their next trip to Siberia - OR - the next time Mom gets camera-happy!
